Hiding bodies will have to be its own reward after the latest Cyberpunk 2077 patch, as developer CD Projekt RED fixed a glitch where you could get infinite money for hiding dead bodies in car trunks.

Don’t lose your Eddie
Despite being released nearly two years ago, the open-world RPG has become notorious for being buggy from day one. These ranged from game-breaking bugs to fun glitches, with the worst of the bunch having been patched in updates since its release in December 2020.
However, Cyberpunk still has some ways to go before it feels truly complete. From mission-critical evidence that doesn’t show up to garage doors that don’t open, there are still many flaws that persist today. Granted, some of the bugs and glitches are kind of hilarious.
Take, for example, this gem of a patch note: “Fixed an issue where placing a corpse in a container or chest, leaving and then coming back could give the player an infinite amount of money.” That’s video game gold, right there.
Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.61 contains many other fixes, including 20 quest bugs that prevented us from progressing through quests. You can read all about the fixes at patch notes (opens in new tab)🇧🇷
Also listed in the notes are a number of fixes for PC specifically, including annoying frame drops and weapon updates that have hampered the game and hampered the progress of many frustrated players.
Two years later, Cyberpunk is proving to its player base that it’s worth it. This will get more complicated for those who don’t have one. PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S🇧🇷 while last-gen players have access to bug-fix patches, they will no longer receive new content and will have to make do with the game as it is.
Why would high-end gamers be left with a game that still looks broken after years of patches and fixes, especially with upcoming RPGs like Hogwarts legacy promising a smooth, polished and fully supported experience even if you don’t have the money for a next-gen console?
For PC and next-gen users, Cyberpunk 2077’s next big expansion is the Phantom Freedom DLCdue for release in early 2023. CD Projekt RED developers will have to vie for our attention thanks to many more next gamesso the DLC had better offer something quite spectacular.
