And today, the German brand Blaupunkt said that it is revealing its 3 models of QLED Google TV. The new Thomson and Blaupunkt models are in the same 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch categories. it cannot be a coincidence that the contract manufacturer SPPL (Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd) is the exclusive licensee of the Thomson and Blaupunkt brand in India.
As with Thomson, Blaupunkt’s new Google QLED TV series would be available during the upcoming Flipkart Big Billion Days (BBD) festive sale. Dates for the shopping extravaganza have yet to be announced.
Blaupunkt QLED Google TVs: Features, Price and Offers
It is not known whether the 3 models from Thomson and Blaupunkt have similar characteristics. But the 3 TVs of the German brands are priced higher than those of Thomson. The Blaupunkt TVs will be available in 50 inches for Rs 36,999, 55 inches for Rs 44,999 and 65 inches for Rs 62,999. These are the offer prices for the Flipkart festival (opens in new tab). For the record, Thomson’s three models are priced: Rs 33,999 for 50 inches, Rs 40,999 for 55 inches, and Rs 59,999 for 65 inches.
In terms of features, Blaupunkt’s new Google QLED TVs come with 60W speakers with Dolby Atmos support, far-field voice control with Google Assistant, and offer 360-degree surround sound for a similar experience. to a home theater.
The TVs feature a 4K QLED display with 1.1 billion colors, HDR 10+, a 60-watt Dolby stereo speaker with four speakers installed, and DTS TruSurround sound technology with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus.

“We are the first manufacturing brand in India to launch QLED with Google TV, even before Chinese smartphone brands. We expect 100% GMV growth in Blaupunkt TVs this year and the biggest contribution will be QLED TV”, Avneet Singh Marwah, CEO of SPPL, was quoted by the IANS news agency.
Blaupunkt is launching QLED at the same price as 4K TVs to capture maximum market share, he added.
