iPhone 14 launch set for September 7 – here’s everything we know

Apple has set September 7 as the date for the release of its alleged iPhone 14. There are no details beyond the time and location: the “Far Out” event will take place at 1pm PST at the Steve Jobs Theater on its Apple Park Campus and will be streamed online in Apple Events (opens in new tab).

The announcement at least ends some of Apple’s worldwide speculation, but leaves the door open for what we should expect to see and hear on September 7th. on the September release date. Apple typically launches products on Tuesday, and with the iPhone, it’s usually the second week of the month. But September starts at the end of the week and then there’s Labor Day weekend in the US, which basically cuts Monday off as a travel day for the many analysts and press (like us!) that will be in attendance.
